This 6-day safari adventure takes you on an extraordinary journey through Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations during the peak of the Great Wildebeest Migration in Ndutu, where calving season brings thrilling predator-prey encounters. You’ll explore Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient baobabs and elephant herds; the open plains of Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti, where wildebeest birth their young; the predator-rich Central Serengeti; and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Big Five.

Day By Day
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and prepare for your safari adventure.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its striking landscape dotted with baobab trees and large populations of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this diverse ecosystem, with the chance to see lions, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and more.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge in the Karatu area.
Overnight near Karatu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinne
After an early breakfast, journey toward the Ndutu region, located between Southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During the calving season (December–March), this area teems with wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles giving birth—drawing predators such as lions and cheetahs.
Enjoy a game drive en route and check in at your tented camp or lodge.
Overnight in Ndutu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Spend the entire day tracking herds across the plains and woodlands of Ndutu. Watch as thousands of wildebeest calves take their first steps while predators lie in wait. Your guide will ensure you're in the best locations to witness the action.
Expect a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and an impressive array of bird species.
Overnight in Ndutu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, drive from Ndutu to the Central Serengeti, famous for its classic savannah landscape and rich wildlife. Enjoy a game drive on the way, looking for leopards lounging in trees and lions resting on kopjes.
Arrive at your Central Serengeti tented camp in time for dinner.
Overnight in Central Serengeti. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart early for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a dense concentration of wildlife. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, with chances to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before beginning the return journey to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
